Gorgeous Glamping Tent in Alberta, Canada, Perfect for a Weekend Getaway





Our resort includes a large canvas tent close to the James River and is surrounded by trees.
The tent sleeps two but you are welcome to bring your own tent for a maximum of four. No pets.
The canvas tent has a comfortable queen bed with warm duvets. It is 12 feet by 14 feet on a deck with electric power inside. The tent is not heated.
We have a private outhouse with an odour free composting toilet. There is an outdoor shower with hot water.
Enjoy a small kitchenette complete with a hot water sink, cooking hotplate, pots, pans and all your kitchen utensils.
Guests have access to the outdoor firepit. Firewood is available for purchase on site.
The tent, bathroom, and kitchen are not shared with other guests.
Please, no early check-ins. No smoking inside or outside.
A three bedroom house, log cabin and tent/rv campsites are nearby on the property. They are available for rent and may have guests. All areas are private and secluded from each other.

MAIN HOUSE and LOG CABIN

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING DOWN THE DRAINS OTHER THAN THE TOILET PAPER PROVIDED AND SOAP
Number of guests and dates cannot be changed after check in. Guests must inform us of any daytime visitors.
No noise after 10 pm
Please do not enter areas that are designated to other guests. Areas for Main House guests and areas for Log Cabin guests are marked with signs.
No smoking inside or outside. No parties or events. No firearms. No fireworks. No ATVs.
Do not alter the land in any way. Remove all dams and cairns.
No food in the bedrooms. Do not leave any food out that may attract unwanted pests. Cover pet food at night.
Do not use towels for pets or make-up. Do not use towels outdoors.
PETS No animals on the furniture or beds. Animals must be leashed and always attended. Barking must be controlled immediately. Pet fee does not cover damage caused by pets.
FIRE PITS Guests are welcome to use the outdoor fire pits. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving them unattended. You must be able to put your hand on the ashes before leaving it unattended. Do not cut down or burn live or fallen trees. Please fill a pail with water before you start any fire or have a hose ready. Please observe any fire bans.
THE RIVER AND CREEK The James River and creek are provincial land. All provincial rules apply when on provincial lands. Please refer to the Province of Alberta's website for information on safe and legal use of provincial land. Waterways are inherently dangerous, so please exercise caution and play safe.
TOOLS We are unable to provide tools to guests. This includes axes for chopping wood.
WOOD BURNING STOVE Do not use the wood stoves.
Guests are not permitted to enter any structures other than the guest house. Do not climb structures.
Not observing the rules of your stay will result in a forfeit of the damage deposit and possible further legal action
CHECKOUT AND CLEANING PROCEDURES
Please leave the house and land in the same state as you found it.
No need to make beds
Garbage and bottles have been placed in the receptacles outside and secured.
Counters are wiped
Microwave is cleaned
Oven, range and BBQ are off
Bathrooms are in the same state as at the start of your stay
Floor has been swept or vacuumed. Broom is in kitchen closet
Indoor lights are all off
All exterior doors are closed and locked
All windows are closed and locked
Fire pits are fully extinguished with water
Baseboard heaters are set to 2
