This is the relaxed half of an oceanfront duplex on Campbell River's Seawalk. One bedroom with a queen and a double, a pullout sofa for two more, and a full kitchen with an ocean view.

Binoculars on the side table. Beach across the street. Your front-row seat to the strait awaits.

The heart of the home is the enclosed sunroom — large windows on two sides, cushioned chairs, and a panorama of the Strait of Georgia with Quadra Island across the water. It's usable year-round: morning coffee at sunrise, whale watching after dinner, storm watching in the off-season. Binoculars are waiting on the side table.

The bedroom sleeps four with a queen and a double, separated by a curtain divider on a ceiling track — a setup that works equally well for a couple, two friends travelling together, or parents with kids. A pullout double sofa in the living room adds space for two more (bedding folded in the bedroom closet).

The open-concept living room centres on a navy sectional, two recliners, and a 55" TV above an electric fireplace. Mini-splits in the living room and bedroom keep the whole space heated and cooled in every season. The full bathroom has a shower-bathtub combo with glass doors and a grab bar.

The kitchen is fully equipped — stainless French-door fridge, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, programmable drip coffee maker, toaster oven, and cookware for six including cast iron, cookie sheets, and muffin tins. The windows look straight out at the ocean. The glass-top dining table seats 4–6 beside sliding doors to the sunroom.

In-unit laundry (compact washer and dryer with detergent provided) and WiFi make this an easy base for longer Vancouver Island stays — remote workers settle in comfortably on this quiet residential stretch. The Seawalk starts at your door for morning walks, and rosemary, thyme, and oregano grow in the herb garden out front — help yourself.

The entire south unit is yours — sunroom, living space, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, in-unit laundry, and the small blue entry deck with ocean views. Park free in the driveway at your private entrance. The herb garden out front is yours to pick from. One pantry-style closet stays locked for owner storage; everything else is open to you.

We typically don't interact with guests directly but are happy to follow your lead. We're always available via messaging if you need anything during your stay.

The Whale House South sits at the midpoint of Campbell River's revitalized 6 km Seawalk — walk, bike, or take the bus (stop steps away) to everything in both directions. Cross the street for a beach fire as the sun rises over Quadra Island.

Free driveway parking at your private entrance. The bus stop is steps from the front door, and the Seawalk lets you walk or bike all the way into downtown. Most attractions are a short drive — this is a car-friendly town.

This is one half of a side-by-side duplex. The neighbouring unit is a completely separate home with its own entrance — you won't share any interior space, though you may occasionally hear everyday sounds from the neighbouring unit.

For your security, there's a Ring doorbell camera at the front entrance — motion-activated, exterior only, no interior cameras and no audio recording.

Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. This is a peaceful residential stretch of the Seawalk and we'd like to keep it that way.
