This secluded lakeside cabin is located near Tweedsmuir Provincial Park in Chilanko Forks, British Columbia, and can accommodate two guests. There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed, as well as a full bathroom. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, and bedding are provided.

In the living room, guests will find a sofa and a heater that is set in stone and bears resemblance to a fireplace. In the kitchen, guests will find a kitchen table with chairs, a stove, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, dishes, and pots and pans.

The cabins are located on a property that faces Puntzi Lake. There is a shared boat launch, where guests can access the lake. Each cabin has its own outdoor patio, picnic table, and fire pit.

Guests can rent canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, lifejackets, and fishing gear at the boathouse. There are also items for purchase at the property office.

Chilanko Forks is located in the interior of British Columbia, nestled within the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This small settlement is located on the edge of a vast nature reserve, with two Provincial Parks: Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park, and Itcha Ilgachuz Provincial Park. Closer yet to the cabins are the pristine mountain waters of Puntzi Lake. Canada is known for its incredibly beautiful and untouched natural parks, and the above mentioned are no exception. Guests can spend their time exploring the Provincial Parks, or closer to home at Puntizi Lake.

In true Canadian fashion, guests can traverse the lake in canoes or kayaks, or perhaps spend the day fishing. Simple, unpretentious, and down-to-earth, this is a great option for those simply wishing to be close to the heart of nature. Whether guests stay on the grounds or choose to venture further into the wilderness, nature will surely be in abundance, leaving lasting memories of Canada’s glorious Rocky Mountains.

This is a great option for outdoor enthusiasts, especially those interested in canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, as boats are available for rent on the property. All of the items necessary for boating, such as lifejackets and fishing gear, can be rented within the property.

Chilanko Forks, a First Nations settlement is surrounded in all directions by natural parks and protected areas, the most famous being Banff National Park. Some of these parks include Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park, Itcha Ilgachuz Provincial Park, Big Creek Provincial Park, Ts'yl-os Provincial Park, Homathko River - Tatlayoko Protected Area, Bowron Lake Provincial Park, Cariboo Mountains Provincial Park, and Wells Gray Provincial Park.

The Canadian Rocky Mountains are home to a wide array of wildlife, including elk, deer and bighorn sheep. More commonly encountered denizens of the forest are squirrels, chipmunks, and pikas, which would make great subjects for photographers.
