This cabin is nestled within a 6-acre property amongst dogwoods, maples, and wildflowers. Marvel at the stars while frogs serenade you, enjoy a drink by the fire pit, listen to the river flowing below, or simply cozy up in your comfy queen-size bed in the crawl-in loft or on the sofa bed down below.
This bunkie cabin is unique in its charm with a simple yet welcoming interior. This tiny log cabin has all the modern comforts (power, heat, Wi-Fi, water) while boasting traditional off-grid features. The outdoor kitchen area is complete with a small fridge, deluxe propane camp stove, and large sink. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, kettle, utensils, cups, dishes, and basic culinary staples, as well as local organic ground coffee and tea.
The private bath house is only steps away from the front door. Complete with a hot water on-demand shower, composting toilet, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap, to keep you comfortable and clean.
Whether you choose to get lost in a good book, enjoy a local cider or wine on your deck after a day of exploring the Cowichan Valley, walk along local paths, or mingle at the fire pit while listening to the Cowichan River flowing below, we can ensure that the land will help put your body and mind back at ease.
We are as low impact on the environment as possible, collecting rainwater and using outdoor composting toilets. Recycling and composting are encouraged. Linens, blankets, and towels are provided.
Your bunkie cabin is yours alone to relax and play in. Nestled between the trees, your deck has lovely forest views.
Our glamping property is located on a very private country road that leads to the lovely Cowichan River. The trailhead for the gorgeous Glenora Trail is located a short 15-20 minute walk from the property. There is also a playground for the little ones and a large pergola with picnic and BBQ amenities. A nearby friendly full-service corner store offers gas, fresh breakfast and lunch options, as well as a great selection of last-minute meal prep items.
There is parking in front of the bunkie. Enter the main driveway and stay to the left of the cedar hedge. You will see the bunkie a few feet down the driveway on your left. Just past the tiny house!
We have a small farm with friendly dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. You may have some furry or feathered guests pop in to say hi.
