Located in a secluded area of the Selkirk Mountains, this wellness lodge makes for the ultimate getaway for relaxation and adventure. The lodge is only two and a half kilometers from the city of Nelson and Lake Kootenay while sitting on the border of the West Arm Provincial Park allowing guests to immerse themselves in the soothing surroundings of nature. The entire lodge has been designed to inspire peace and wellbeing with various skylights throughout allowing for lots of natural light and views of the gardens and forest.

There are nine bedrooms in the lodge that sleep up to 20 guests in total. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom that comes with a toilet, shower, and a bathtub. Two bedrooms include queen-size beds and six bedrooms include double beds. The wellness lodge has three and a half bathrooms that have toilets, hand basins, and showers.

Guests also have access to an open, fully equipped kitchen that features all major appliances and cooking utensils. Besides the kitchen, the bright and spacious living area includes comfortable seating with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a door that leads out to the porch where guests will find the outdoor hot tub.

There are a yoga studio and a meditation space for various classes and sessions that are available to guests all year round.

The lodge is a sanctuary in nature for those looking for a wellness getaway and features a number of luxury amenities that add to the peaceful ambiance of the property. There is a large yoga studio inside the unique, circular structure and a garden-side hot tub that have been designed specifically for maximum comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy barbecue meals from the grill on the patio that overlooks the forest and the outdoor shower is perfect for cooling down in summer.

The lodge has been fitted with a fully equipped kitchen for guests to share and free Wi-Fi can be found throughout the property.

Hiking, walking, and biking trails begin just outside the main entrance of the lodge where guests can explore the Selkirk Mountains and where the tallest peak of Mount Sir Sandford stands tall at 11,454 feet. Kootenay Lake is a short drive away from the property where guests get involved in a variety of water sports including kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding. Swimming and fishing are also popular on the lake while winter time provides the opportunity to skate outdoors and play ice hockey in Nelson’s Lion’s Park. The slopes of the Whitewater Ski Resort are just a 25-minute drive from downtown Nelson where skiing, snowboarding, and tubing can be done on one of the best powder mountains in North America.

While inside the lodge, yoga and meditation can be practiced in the studio for an energizing start to the day.
