The nearby Visitors Centre is a good resource to help learn about the area and all the places there are to explore. Waterfront pathways lead from Spirit Square Performance stage, through Fisherman's Wharf and a seasonal Farmer’s Market. Queen B's restaurant is the go-to place for a good cup of coffee or a delicious meal.
Rennell Sound is located on the West Coast of Haida Gwaii. it is characterized by a steep and rugged coastline relentlessly exposed to the natural elements of the environment. Hiking the trails will offer visitors unfounded and spectacular views of many hidden gems. Guests can kayak in the bay, hike to the Psueta ship-wreck in Tlell or visit Tow Hill known for its unique lava rock formations. There are also miles of pristine beaches and forest walks.
A visit on a clear day may just afford visitors a glimpse of Alaska. A must-do trip is a drive to the award-winning Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llnagaay. It is here that one can learn about the rich Haida culture through a variety of traditional art., see collections of argillite, weavings of cedar and spruce root hats, and walking sticks and ceremonial masks, all hand-made by the Haida people.
