Welcome to our chalet in Sun Peaks!

The house features an architectural "Prow" design that magnifies and surrounds you with truly stunning panoramic mountain views through 20' soaring picture windows. Immerse yourself in nature and spot wildlife as you unwind in the Great Room or front deck after an activity-filled day.

The spaces in Pinetree Chalet were designed to accommodate our own large family gatherings... with a mix of couples, singles and families. Tell us about your group and we'll recommend your best sleeping configuration.

The Great Room comprises Living and Family rooms with leather seating, large screen hdtv, cozy fireplace and a huge table for games, meals or meetings. There's a fully equipped kitchen with counter and stools for 4 helpers... and cooks will appreciate less foot traffic in the kitchen with a convenient separate beverage area with full fridge.

COUNT 'EM! Whether you're getting away for a corporate retreat or family reunion... take a look at the photos of gathering spaces at our chalet! Our adjacent living and family rooms have ample seating, which can be arranged to accommodate one large or 2 smaller group settings.

At bedtime, you'll find six bedrooms:

Ponderosa: upstairs, queen bed and optional sleeper ottoman, private view balcony, walk-in closet, WC plus jetted tub rooms.

Foxtail: upstairs, queen bed, private balcony, large closet, ensuite with shower.

Durango: upstairs, queen bed, private view balcony, large closet, ensuite with shower.

Lacebark: main floor large bunk room with 1 queen + 3x twin beds, closet.

The main floor washroom conveniently consists of 2 rooms and double trough sink for multiple users.

Bristlecone: suite, queen bed, optional twin sleeper ottoman, closet, beautiful mountain view.

Jack Pine: suite, queen bed, xl-twin high loft bed, closet.

A separate suite is on a lower level with a private entrance, kitchen, dining and living room, plus washroom with shower/tub. Access between the two units is via an outdoor covered staircase. This is convenient for peace or privacy.

NEED MORE? Ask about optionally adding our other accommodation - a lower-level large room with two sofa beds and ensuite with shower. This room has been used as a hang-out area for kids, honeymooners, extra beds for singles.

Ski in... right to the house, then enter through the skiers foyer and store your gear before enjoying a soak in the hot tub. In spring, enjoy the sound of the nearby creek and abundance of wildlife. Follow the creek up Tod Mountain to explore peaceful trails through the woods.

It's impossible to overstate the grandeur of the open-air hot tub. Star gaze in the evening, watch skiers glide by in winter - or the creek in spring, and soak in the majestic four-season views. The surrounding evergreen trees offer privacy.

Two decks and three private balconies offer places to enjoy creation and nature outdoors. A full outdoor barbeque grill overlooks the hot tub.

The chalet has an HRV air-exchange system that continually replenishes stale air with fresh air in each room. The air is cooled in summer and warmed in winter. Although temperatures rarely get hot in summer, the main house also has a high-velocity fan for extra circulation, if needed. There is also a whole-house water filtration system.

Off-street parking, wifi and cable are included, cozy in-floor heating, fireplaces, private treed location, decks.

We may consider up to 2 dogs upon request. When approved, a pet fee applies and we will ask you to sign our Pet Policies. All bedrooms, and the suite are pet-free zones.

*INFANTS: We are licensed to host up to 16 guests of any age. To ensure you are registering for the correct number of guests per Sun Peaks bylaws, enter ALL GUESTS under 12 as "CHILDREN" (not infants). By request, we can provide a crib with change area, high chair, toys, kids dinnerware, books. These items are included for groups with up to 12 guests, or in the extra guest fee for 13-16 guests.
