Our property is 10 minutes from the ocean with amazing views. This luxury 2 bdrm suite features beautiful hardwood floors, a full bath with a soaker tub, unique bedrooms with a sloped roof & skylights, and a bright, fully equipped kitchen. The private entrance has a large cedar deck.

The living area has a modular sofa that you can arrange to suit you, that can sleep a younger/smallerchild. The rug adds a very cozy feel. Plenty of storage & everything you need for a short or long-term stay :)

This beautiful 'piece of heaven' is part of our luxury home, built atop a mountain, with spectacular, expansive views of the ocean, mountain and islands. There is a viewing spot outside at our outdoor kitchen where you can sit and take in the view and the wonderful sunsets.

The light-filled suite features real hardwood floors, hot water radiant heating, sloped ceilings, a modern European-style kitchen, a desk, a comfortable and flexible living area, opening skylights in the bedrooms, a very large window near the expandable kitchen table and a private cedar deck, complete with a BBQ, for your enjoyment.

Our fully equipped kitchen has a 2-burner induction cooktop as well as a convection microwave oven, which can be used to cook both traditionally and via microwave.

We have also equipped the kitchen with basic ingredients like spices and olive oil.

Our lovely 2-bedroom suite can accommodate up to 4 adults and one child OR two adults and up to 3 children. NOTE: The loveseat in the living room is not long enough to accommodate an adult, but there is ample room for a young child, as cushions can be removed to make it the full width of a single bed.

If you are coming with a baby or young child and require any of our family amenities, please message ahead of time so that we can prepare the suite with everything that you require. We have a travel crib, and high chair available upon request.

There is also a desk suitable for business visitors. Each room has its own thermostat, so you can control the room temperature. We ask that guests turn down the bedroom heat when the room is not in use.

Laundry services are available on-site by request for guests staying a weekor more. Please message us at least one day before torequest access to the laundry.

The cedar deck features a small table and two chairs as well as a BBQ. In addition, there is an outdoor patio set in our outdoor kitchen near our greenhouse in a lovely spot overlooking the ocean and mountain views, which you are welcome to enjoy.

NOTE: The bedrooms have sloped ceilings and opening skylights. If you’re sensitive to light, you may want to have something handy to put across your eyes to sleep a little longer. Also, please note that there is NOT an ocean view from the suite, but there is from the property, including an outdoor eating area.

In addition to your suite, you are able to access our 10-acre property for walks and more adventurous hiking. We have a lovely pond area that we are in the process of developing. There is lots of room for kids to run around.

Please be aware that this is rural land and there is wildlife around. Parent supervision is mandatory for children at all times, and guests agree to take full responsibility when wandering the property and enjoying the pond area.

We have a lovely Australian Shepherd dog, who loves interacting with our guests, as well as a beautiful long-haired cat (that you’ll likely never see...)

We enjoy meeting and interacting with our guests, but also respect guests’ privacy. We are always available by text to answer any questions or offer assistance. We are most often around on the property, but we're always available by cell phone.

Halfmoon Bay is centrally located between Sechelt (which has all the shopping you could need) and Madeira Park, which is a natural paradise, full of islands. The area is famous for its access to lakes and the ocean andits abundance of hiking trails, as well as many, many places to explore. Our home is located up the hill from the Sunshine Coast highway, so it's very peaceful up here, and we have a wonderful expansive view of the ocean, islands and the mountains on Vancouver Island.

We are located about 20 minutes north of Sechelt and about 15 minutes from Madeira Park. Our location is central on the Sunshine Coast and is within easy driving distance for a day trip to Powell River or down to Gibsons/Langdale (where the ferry comes in from Horseshoe Bay).

Our place is 2.3 km up from the Sunshine Coast Highway central to both Sechelt and Madeira Park, making it an ideal location to explore the area. We are surrounded by trails and are within minutes of the ocean and the famous Historic Halfmoon Bay Store and Café, which has everything you'd need, including alcohol.

We are on well water, so conservation of water is important in the summer months. The water quality is excellent. We have a state-of-the-art ultraviolet water filtration system, and the water is wonderful and healthy, with no chlorine.
