Hikers, mountain bikers, and cross-country skiers will also enjoy the many provincial parks in the area, which they can visit on their own or with a guide. Sleeping Beauty Mountain, Hai Lake Mount Herman, and Kitsumkalum Provincial Parks all boast a large network of hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty, as well as large indigenous wildlife populations that visitors can see throughout the year. Guests can also learn about the tribal history of the area at the Kitselas Canyon National Historic Site or at the Heritage Park Museum, then head into Terrace to grab a bite to eat or try a local beer at Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse. Guests can then return to the bed and breakfast and play pool or warm up in front of the large wood-stove fireplace in the common room before stargazing at night from the expansive deck.
