Description of Glamping Units
These unique tree house style cabins allow for a back to nature camping experience in the warmth of a private rental near Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Guests can choose from five identical camping cabins, each with a kitchenette and four piece bathroom, a loft with two beds up and futon down.
Each camping rental is equipped with a shower, a toilet, a vanity with hot and cold water, a spacious kitchenette with mini fridge/freezer, stove-top, coffee pot, pots and pans, linens and ` microwave for glampers convenience. The living area features an electric fireplace, a futon, and TV/DVD player. Please note there is no cable or satellite so please remember to bring a few movies, however, WiFi is available.
Each cabin also has its own fireplace and balcony that boasts amazing mountain views for guests to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine, a good book, and even better company. Relax in a private cabin in the trees, or have a picnic at one of the benches with the family, and take a walk down to the river and make sure to pack binoculars for a better view of the many kinds of birds and other wildlife that frequent our farm and don't forget a camera!—There is a giant eagles nest on the property!
Whether on a month long vacation or an overnight trip, take some time to unwind and take a stroll along the riverbank or through one of the trails. Have a picnic by the water or at one of the picnic benches located in various spots on the glamping site. Wake up early and head out fishing or for a day trip hiking up one of the breathtaking mountains that surround the area. If glampers are nature enthusiasts then there will be no shortage of it around these parts and keep watch for one of the resident foxes, coyotes, and even bears!
If guests come at just the right time, there may be a brand new batch of adorable baby goats or kids as the hosts call them! There is nothing cuter or funnier than watching young goats bouncing and jumping and running through the barnyard. The goats are all very friendly and will come up to guests for a visit and a little treat.
