Shade in the desert interior BC is at a premium. This glamping unit location is private with a stunning view of the river. This area is known as Walhachin, which means 'land of the round rock' in Shushwap. This cozy riverfront glamping cabin is perfect for 1-2 guests with room for cots and blow up mattresses for extra guests.
This Cache Creek rental's inventory includes a queen-size elevated inflatable mattress The tent also features a covered wooden front porch with two Muskoka chairs overlooking the little sandy beach and the rushing river.
Guests who stay at this accommodation have direct access to potable water directly outside of the tent. Linens, towels, and cooking equipment and utensils are not provided, so guests have the option of bringing their own or renting from the host for the duration of their stay.
There is a shared fire pit on the property, so guests can light a fire and roast marshmallows under the light of the desert moon or rent one of our propane fire bowls.
Glampers should note that upon arrival, a security deposit must be paid. This is refunded upon departure after the cabin is checked. Bedding and propane are available for an additional charge please enquire.

The property lies on the Thompson River, where there are no lifeguards. Guests who choose to venture into the river are advised to use caution and use at their own risk.
There is a security deposit of CAD 200 to be held on the guest´s card at the time of confirmation and released back to the guest 3 days after check out pending no damages.
Children eight years and under stay for free. For children eight years and above there is a CAD20 fee per night.
