This comfortable, yet rustic, glamping vacation rental is located in Walhachin, Thompson River Estates, British Columbia, Canada. The cozy, riverfront tented cabin is perfect for two to six guests who are ready to enjoy the best of nature while staying in a unique glamping accommodation on the Thompson River. The location of this unit is in the shade, directly on the river which, in the desert is a rare treat. Guests can wake up in the morning to some cowboy coffee and cast out their fishing pole to catch a rainbow trout right in front of their accommodation.
This accommodation is fitted with a queen-size elevated inflatable mattress and solar-powered lamps to illuminate the tent when the sun goes down. The tent also features a covered wooden front porch with two Muskoka chairs overlooking the little sandy beach and the rushing river.
Guests who stay at this accommodation have direct access to potable water directly outside of the tent. Linens, towels, and cooking equipment and utensils are not provided, so guests have the option of bringing their own or renting from the host for the duration of their stay. Shared bathroom facilities are located just steps away from the tent.
There is a shared fire pit on the property, so guests can light a fire and roast marshmallows under the light of the desert moon.
Glampers should note that upon arrival, a security deposit must be paid. This is refunded upon departure after the cabin is checked. Bedding and propane are available for an additional charge.

The property lies on the Thompson River, where there are no lifeguards. Guests who choose to venture into the river are advised to use caution and use at their own risk.
There is a security deposit of CAD 200 to be held on the guest´s card at the time of confirmation and released back to the guest 3 days after check out pending no damages.
Children eight years and under stay for free. For children eight years and above there is a CAD20 fee per night.
