The River Inhabitants Nature Reserve River Mouth and open Atlantic protected by uninhabited islands is an ideal combination of everything. The area is home to the nationally threatened wood turtle and at least nine species of rare or uncommon plants. The river and its tributaries provide habitat for brook trout and Atlantic salmon. Nevertheless there a several super stores and restaurants nearby and a hospital only 6 min distant. Lots of great maintained trails nearby.
