French River Provincial Park offers guests the chance to explore the river as well as the ponds that surround the land - the ponds are home to plenty of local beavers and other wildlife.The French River Visitors Center is a great place to explore the area and learn about the 75 years worth of history surrounding the area and the river. The center also has a museum for further information on the area, although a small fee will be charged to visit. After learning about the area, guests can take a trip to the nearby bridge, which was built by the snowmobile community, allows guest to look at the stretching views. This same bridge will take guests to the hiking trials of Recollect Falls. Daily talks are given by the Friends of Wildlife, where guests can learn about the preservation of the local wildlife, with a chance to meet some of the animals.
