Designed for comfort while embracing sustainability, the cottage operates fully off-grid with solar power, allowing you to enjoy modern amenities while staying connected to the natural environment. Accessible only by boat, the property provides exceptional privacy and a true escape from the everyday.

Spend your days swimming in crystal-clear water, exploring the shoreline, or relaxing with panoramic lake views. As evening falls, unwind and take in the breathtaking sunsets that make this west-facing location truly special.
A rare opportunity to enjoy a modern, eco-friendly retreat in one of Muskoka’s most beautiful and unspoiled settings.

**Note that the cottage is built on a steep hill and requires climbing 90 steps on a newly built stair system.

Area Details:
The surrounding Dorset and Algonquin Highlands area offers countless summer activities. Visit the iconic Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower, where visitors can climb above the treetops for sweeping views of Lake of Bays and the surrounding forests. The nearby village of Dorset features waterfront parks, public beaches, local shops, and restaurants perfect for a day trip.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the easy access to hiking, paddling, and wildlife viewing in Algonquin Provincial Park, just a short drive away, where visitors can explore scenic trails, canoe routes, and classic Canadian wilderness landscapes.

Back on Kawagama Lake, enjoy boating and cottage essentials from a choice of two marinas: the Kawagama Lake Marina or Mountain Trout marina, both which offer fuel, supplies, and lakeside treats for boaters.

Whether you’re looking for adventure on the water, relaxing days in nature, or unforgettable sunset evenings on the deck, this unique off-grid island retreat offers an authentic Muskoka cottage experience. Off-Grid Lakeside Cottage with Stunning Sunset Views in Ontario, Canada
