The property itself has 300 feet of private lakefront access, with a sandy beach and a dock that the kids will love jumping off of. Down here by the lake, there is a fire pit where guests in the past have enjoyed roasting marshmallows after dinner and sharing campfire stories.

Arriving at the actual cottage, this lakefront retreat is a spacious and stylishly designed with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The great room is the ultimate family room, with 20-foot cathedral ceilings, large windows with views of Eagle Lake, and a charming wood-burning stone fireplace at the center. The kitchen has all the appliances guests might need to enjoy meals at home, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner and there is an island with barstools so the chef can have company. Out on the porch, there is patio furniture so guests can dine al fresco and there is even an eight-person hot tub.

On the main level, there is a master suite, with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and even a private deck facing the lake. The second bedroom, on the walk-out level, has two queen beds, while the third bedroom sleeps two in a queen bed as well. The upstairs loft area has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the bunk room—which has a single over queen bunk bed.
