Glampers can enjoy a large variety of fun activities on this small island. The region's beaches boast the warmest water north of the Carolinas, as a shallow shelf surrounding the island's shore allows the water to heat up. This makes it the ideal place for water-based activities like swimming, windsurfing, and sea kayaking. The town of Tignish is the base for chartered fishing trips, where guests can hope to reel in mackerel, cod, herring, and tuna. From several points on the island, nature lovers can hop onto an organized whale watching boat. Glampers are almost guaranteed to see a variety of whales, including Pilot Whales, Finback Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Sperm Whales, Dolphins, and Porpoises.

Keen golfers will be pleased to know that there's a great course within 15 minutes of the property. The Mill River Golf Course is considered a hidden gem by many players, and offers 18 holes, in a quiet and secluded atmosphere. Other world class golfing can be done at Crowbush Cove, Brudenell River, and Dundarave courses. The nearby Confederation Trail is excellent for hiking and cycling. It features breathtaking scenery and plant life, perfect for a quick stroll, or a longer hike. The trail also boasts 270 miles of excellent rolled-stone surface, making it ideal for two-wheeled adventures. Locally-made items and unique souvenirs can be found in The Tignish Treasures Studio. For some serious food and retail therapy, glampers can take a trip to Charlottetown, which has many shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There's even a live theater in the city, Confederation Centre of the Arts, with its musical based on the world-famous “Anne of Green Gables” tales.
