The cities of Ottawa and Montreal are an accessible two-and-a-half hours away by car, making this a great place for a weekend getaway. Set near the Grand Lac Nominingue, guests can enjoy stunning views of the Laurentian Mountains. The Rouge-Matawin Wildlife Reserve is close by, and glampers can take advantage of the stunning Rivière-Rouge, just ten minutes from the site.

At Nominingue golf club, guests can take try the 18-hole golf course, and guests can rent equipment and take lessons. In the nearby forest, a former railway track was transformed into a cycling path and roller-skating track, which stretches for miles.
In the summer months, there is a beautiful sand beach along Nominingue Lake where guests can relax and enjoy a supervised swimming. Guests can also partake in volleyball, petanque, ping-pong and buoy rafting. There are opportunities to rent a boat, go windsurfing, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and sailing along the nearby lake.
