Additional info

One of the most sustainable ventures the hotel has implemented is the local farm it started in 2009. Sustainable agricultural practices are used to grow the vegetables, herbs, and fruits by hand. Over 80% of the food featured in the hotel's restaurant and juice bar is grown at the farm-fresh food like no other.

The hotel continuously support projects in the local area that promote the sustainable development of the unique and fascinating community of Nosara, ensuring that Nosara will stay this way for future guests. Furthermore, the hotel pledges to hire and train at least 60% of their staff from the surrounding area, benefiting the economy and raising the standard of living for locals. In the garden, the hotel makes sure to use local plants that provide food and shelter for the local animal population.

This ultimate eco glamping haven commits to recycling at least 85% of the hotel's waste, guaranteeing minimal negative effect on the environment. The waste water is also treated without chemicals, and is reused to water the gardens. Food waste is composted to use as fertilizer for the hotel's gardens. But for the carbon emissions that are emitted by the hotel, a project called "Plant a Tree" helps compensate for the calculated emissions.
