This unique cabin rental near Corcovado National Park, Drake Bay, Costa Rica, can accommodate up to four guests at a time, perfect for groups of glampers hoping to explore the tropical landscape of this coastal village during their next vacation. The rental comes with one bedroom and one full bathroom. In the bedroom, guests will find a set of twin-size bunk beds, a double bed, and a safe, as well as a full ensuite bathroom that includes a standing shower, a toilet, a sink, and provided linens.

Guests will also have a private covered balcony offering views of the water through the leafy green trees of the garden that surrounds the lodge. The balcony is furnished with Adirondack chairs and hammocks, ideal for unwinding with a book or a glass of wine in the afternoons after spending the day on the beach. Guests will have access to the main floor dining area of the lodge, where a homemade breakfast prepared from local produce is served each morning. Guests can get to the beach in just five minutes via the pathway leading away from the accommodation.

This scenic lodge is nestled between the tropical rainforest and beaches of Drake Bay, Costa Rica. Drake Bay is a breathtaking town on the southwest coast of the country, with one of the world’s most celebrated national parks, Corcovado National Park, situated just a few minutes away from the town center. The village also boasts stunning white sand beaches, from Playa Colorada right outside the property to Playa Ganado just north of the town. Guests can also take boats to Caño Island to the west in the Pacific Ocean, where they can see whales, dolphins, monkeys, and indigenous bird species that inhabit the jungle there. Guests can also visit the Punto Rio Claro National Wildlife Refuge, the Terraba Sierpe National Wetlands, and the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve, all of which have miles of hiking and horseback riding trails to explore throughout the year.

In the mornings, guests can wake up with a cup of coffee on the front deck, then venture down to the beach, where they can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, go for long walks, and sail during their stay. Glampers can also go for walks through the jungle on the many paths winding through the trees, with opportunities to see tropical birds, monkeys, and other wildlife right outside their front door.

Nearby Corcovado National Park is renowned for its stunning hikes to caves, lakes, and waterfalls, meaning guests can book a tour with the glamping hosts or a nearby tour group in Drake Bay and spend the day exploring the park on foot, on horseback, or in a safari jeep. Glampers can also spend the night in San Pedrillo before heading into the park for two full days in the rainforest. Caño Island off the coast is ideal for those who want to snorkel, scuba dive, whale watch, or swim with dolphins, with various boats headed out to the island scheduled throughout the day. Glampers can also tube on the Agujitas River or hike through the Sierpe Mangroves to the north, then return to Drake Bay for dinner in one of the local beachfront restaurants situated near the rental.
