Set on Lake Taveras in the Dominican Republic, these deluxe glamping tents offer lakeside views, shared bathroom facilities, and come set with all the basics for a comfortable camping stay. Fully furnished and decorated with plenty of attention to detail, glampers will bask in plenty of accommodating features including a lamp for evening lighting and a power bank for charging mobile phones or other USB devices. Inside each tent, guests will find sleeping for up to two with a queen-size bed, fine hotel-quality linens and plush pillows.

Guests will enjoy a spacious private garden with an outside seating area and nearby access to male and female bathhouses. Each bathhouse is set with three bamboo showers, real toilets, and high water pressure. At night, guests will enjoy relaxing along the shared campfire with a barbecue pit or dining under the covered seating area and surrounding cypress trees. There are also fishing opportunities and full-day hikes available along Lake Taveras. Glampers who are interested in heading into the center of Santiago de Los Caballeros can visit the Parque Zoologico Gurabo, discover local art galleries or take a stroll through Duarte Park. For the water sports enthusiasts, this location is a great spot for kite surfing, as guests will be only a five-minute walk to the ultimate spot for launching their kite onto Lake Taveras. Guests can also bring their bikes for a true outback adventure. Lastly, the river Yaque del Norte, which runs from Jarabacoa into Lake Taveras, is a highly popular destination for river rafting and just around the corner from this glamping site.
