Canoa has the longest beach in Equador with 17 kilometers of golden sand and offers many activities and sports. Guests can learn to surf or perfect their skills at the many small surfing schools or take a kayak tour to magical caves and private beaches. Paragliding and Hang gliding are also very popular and there are many companies that offer tandem flights. Glampers should also take a tour of the Rio Muchacho Organic Farm with activities including horse treks, chocolate making, necklace making, and visits to the waterfall. There are also many great day trips to be had in nearby cities and islands. Nature lovers should take a tour to the heart-shaped Isla Corazón that is home to endangered mangroves or take a trip to the coastal city of Bahía de Caráquez.
