When visiting Sumaco Galeras, expect to indulge in some of the prettiest protected wildlife. It’s home to around 280 species of birds, the cloudy amazon forest, and a breathtaking selection of waterfalls and rapids. As such, dramatic natural features complement your hiking, kayaking, and swimming activities in the region, making it a scenic place to visit. To reach the park, you can’t go wrong with calling Ahuano home for a few nights.
