This remote British Columbia glamping retreat is ideal for nature getaways. Canada is an outdoor enthusiast's dream and guests will be located at one of the most serene and scenic locations within the Columbia Valley. Accommodation here means that guests will have spectacular mountain views all around them and glampers will also find a winter dogsled trail that turns into a wild nature path during summer months and a beautiful picnic area.
Guests should note that the BC glamping rental is totally off-grid and has no electricity. Light is by battery/propane lanterns and candles. As all the units are off-grid, this means that the cooler provided in the wall tent is not plugged into electricity. If guests wish to store food and drink in a cool place during their stay in BC, the hosts recommend that they bring ice with them to use in the cooler along with their food.
The toilet is located in a separate outhouse and is shared with other guests staying at the BC retreat. The hosts have solar showers available if needed by the water station next to the parking lot. Outside, guests have 180 private acres of raw wilderness to explore and while enjoying a stay in British Columbia, guests will also be close to some amazing natural areas of beauty such as Banff National Park and Glacier National Park.

The mosquitos can be bad in this area as the BC retreat is located within the valley of one of the largest wetlands in North America so guests should bring bug spray.
The hosts have several bears pass through the land each year, but have never had any issues with them. The hosts acknowledge, and love, that they share their space with them. Guests should be respectful and not feed or leave any garbage anywhere for them to eat! Guests should also remove trash with them when they leave, or, if the need be, leave all garbage within the bags provided inside the rental when they depart. Bears have the best noses and will be attracted to trash left outside.
