Ontario is a landscape filled with opportunities for outdoor adventure, and even more so when glampers are visiting Haliburton - surrounded by lakes, the Algonquin Provincial Park, and miles of scenic hikes. In the warmer months, guests will love having such great access to Eagle Lake. The property has 300 feet of lake frontage with gently sloping hills to a sandy beach, perfect for the kids. The hosts provide canoes and kayaks so guests can get out on the calm waters of Eagle Lake, of course after having cooled off with a dip in the water. Guests can also simply relax on the dock and enjoy the afternoon sun or one of the beautiful Eagle Lake sunsets. For hiking enthusiasts, the Haliburton Rail Trail is a popular hike in the area and great in the summer. Depending on weather conditions, the trail can be good for biking as well.

Come wintertime, guests should make the most of all Ontario has to offer. Take a tour and go dog-sledding with Winterdance Dogsled Tours, trek the Haliburton Nordic trails on cross-country skis or snowshoes, or stay at home and build a snowman! No matter what guests are looking for, winter is a beautiful time of the year in Haliburton.
