We didn’t build this place to be just another "stay." We built it as a response to the noise. When we planted 2,200 lavender plugs back in 2024, it wasn't just about the harvest—it was about creating a sanctuary where "doing nothing" is the highest priority. Whether you’re staying in our bell tent or wandering the forest, the energy here is one of strategic descent. We invite you to set down your titles and your to-do lists, and simply remember how to breathe deeply.
What You’ll Find Here
The farm is a living apothecary. You’ll be surrounded by the scent of lavender and the steady, grounding pulse of the Otonabee River.
The Ritual of Rest: Your bed is dressed in natural linens designed for "reading until noon" or afternoon naps in the sun.
The Land: You have full access to our private managed forest trails and our riverfront. We have kayaks ready if you want to drift, or hammocks if you’d rather stay still.
Apothecary Touches: You’ll find our own hand-poured "Calm Balms" and botanical rituals waiting for you—made right here on the farm with all-natural beeswax, cocoa butter, essential oils, minerals and raw intentions. We don't 'add' botanicals to a base; the botanicals are the base. All natural. No fillers.
The View & The Neighborhood
The best view isn't a landmark; it’s the way the light moves through the trees during the "blue hour" or the staggering clarity of the stars once the sun goes down. We are deep in the Kawarthas, so if you do feel the urge to explore, the Peterborough Lift Lock and the ancient Warsaw Caves are close by. But most of our guests find that once they sit by the river, they don’t really want to be anywhere else.
