This cabin is a hand built two-story mini-home. Built completely with locally sourced materials, and designed by a Harrington resident.
Guests at our ecotourism units are invited to explore the private park that consists of over 200 acres of pristine forest, several walking trails and a pristine, undeveloped lake.

It invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy a simpler way of living - without compromising on comfort.

Included at your private site:

• Appropriate clothing and footwear (we’re in the forest!)

• Food + Cooler + Ice (there is no refrigeration, we sell ice blocks onsite)
• Flashlight (this is camping, it can get dark)
• Bugspray/mosquito netting
• Sheets, pillow cases, blanket

We are a 100% online property. A valid government ID and a $100 security deposit are required for the online check-in process before arrival.
Pets are allowed for a $45 + tax fee per stay.

ACCESS
The shower block public and equipped with a solar heating. Therefore, hot water is available during the day. It is open from June 1st to October 1st. We also have a large collective kitchen that is available for rent for large groups and private events.

NEIGHBORHOOD
The vacation center at our property works in association with a local foundation - a non-profit organization whose main activities are the protection of the forest park, education and support for the development of partnerships in Permaculture.

On the property discover the sheep zone, the sugar shack and Maple Garden, the food forest and the NourriSerre, tiny Eco-Constructions, food production spaces, beautiful nature trails, a private lake and more.

TRANSIT
Look out when arriving here.

We offer our guests a quiet, forest experience and for this reason we ask that that you limit use of your vehicle during your stay and that you keep your car in the parking lot. It is permitted to drive to your unit at check-in and check-out.

From Montreal - Highway 15N to 50 ouest until Brownsburg-Chatham. 327N until chemin White.

From Ottawa (AVOID KILMAR) - Get on Autoroute 50 E/QC-148 E in Hull, Gatineau from Boulevard Maisonneuve N, take 50E until Brownsburg-Chatham. 327N until chemin White.

Damage policy / Politique sur les dommages
Any damage to the unit or leaving it in poor condition will result in charges being deducted. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to the following minimum penalties:

•Broken light fixture / Luminaire cassé: Min. $75

•Broken chair / Chaise cassée: Min. $40

•Damaged sofa or bed / Canapé ou lit endommagé: Min. $200

•Fireplace damage / Foyer endommagé: Min. $100

•Broken dishes or bottles / Vaisselle brisée: Min. $20

•Broken mirror / Miroir brisé: Min. $30

•Broken window / Fenêtre brisée: Min. $100

•Stains on any surface / Tache (sol, mur, etc.): Min. $40

Pet owners are fully responsible for their animals.
If the unit cannot be rented the same night due to damage or poor condition, a loss of revenue fee equal to the nightly rate will apply.
