Overlooking Deep Creek Lake, boasting 2,200 square feet of living space, and providing year-round access to a vast variety of outdoor recreation options, this pet and family-friendly cabin rental is located near the Wisp Resort in Maryland and can accommodate 12 guests for a relaxation and fun-filled getaway to the great outdoors. It has six bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Guests will find a queen-size bed in each of the first and second bedrooms, two twin beds in each of the third and fourth bedrooms, a full-size bed in the fifth bedroom, and a king-size bed in the sixth bedroom. All of the bedrooms are furnished with nightstands and/or bedside lamps. In each of the three bathrooms, guests will find a combination bathtub/shower, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.
In the living room, guests will find two sofas, an armchair, a game table, a stereo, board games, and a television with a DVD player, a Wii, a video library, and video games. A separate recreation room provides guests with yet more seating and another television. In the dining room, guests will find a large table that seats ten, along with a smaller table that seats four, all under a chandelier and set beside French windows that provide abundant natural light. Outside, guests will find an outdoor grill, picnic tables, and a covered deck with ample seating, along with a dock slip for one boat at a nearby community dock. At Savage River State Forest, guests will find ten trails totaling 78 miles, winding through 54,000 acres of rugged terrain covered with oaks, red maples, and northern hardwoods. Exploring them, guests may encounter white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and black bears. For more trails, guests can head to Deep Creek Lake State Park, which is forested with oaks and hickories and is also home to American black bears. Here, guests will also find many opportunities for water-based recreation on the lake after which the park is named.
At Swallow Falls State Park, guests will find the 53-foot-tall Muddy Creek Falls, hiking and biking trails, and an old growth forest containing ancient hemlock trees, some of which are more than 300 years old. For a veritable feast of recreational facilities and activity options, guests can visit Wisp Resort, where they will find ski slopes, golf courses, zip lines, water adventures, a whitewater rafting and kayaking course, a unique roller coaster, cafes, and many other attractions.

In the winter, guests can go skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, with equipment rentals and lessons available. In the summer, guests can go zip lining on three courses, mountain biking at the Fork Run Recreation Area, golfing on the Lodestone Course or Fantasy Valley Course, and whitewater rafting or kayaking on a unique recirculating whitewater course, to name just a few of the possibilities.
