Dalton

Dalton is a small place, which rests in the western part of New York state. It is a place surrounded by an abundance of state parks, which makes it the perfect place to come on a hiking holiday. Yet, the shores of both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario lie not far away, so a trip here means being able to explore a diverse landscape. The best place to go on daily hikes is Letchworth State Park, where you can follow trails along the Genesee River, and take in amazing natural scenery. Rattlesnake Hill Wildlife Management Area provides the perfect opportunity to look for local animals as you explore, but you could catch sight of a unique landscape when you visit Keeney Swamp State Forest.
