This rustic camping cabin can sleep up to 10 guests and is conveniently located near the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone Park in Montana. It is fully furnished, and it has a sleeping loft. Mattresses, lighting, board games, cookware, a wood-burning stove, and firewood are all provided. Guests have access to water provided by the nearby spring-fed creek. There is no running water in the cabin, and the bathroom is an outhouse located next to the cabin. Guests are required to bring their own sleeping bag.

The Woody Creek Cabin is a backcountry cabin that requires a 2.5 mile walk that gains 1000 vertical feet. The cabin is completely surrounded by Forest Service property and is located only 1/4 mile from Wilderness. The cabin is in a non motorized area and walking or horseback are the only methods you can use to access it. The cabin has a fully outfitted kitchen, great beds, lanterns for light and board games. The toilet is an outhouse located about 25 feet from the cabin and the water source is a natural spring located about 100 yards from the cabin. The hiking is amazing and private from the cabin and the scenery, wildfowers and wildlife are very special in the summer and fall months.

This cabin accommodation is located just four miles from the North East entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Accessing the cabin requires a 2.5-mile walk from downtown Cooke City, Montana, and first-time users are required to be guided to the cabin. The guiding fee is $100, and the cost includes carrying up to 50lbs of food or gear for you. Additional guiding and porter services are available at an additional cost. All guests are required to supply and bring their own sleeping bags. The cabin has good mattresses.

The trail to the cabin is well maintained. Children as young as four years old have made the trip. The cabin is an awesome place for families!
