The charming small town of Mead is located just north of Spokane in Spokane County, Washington. Most things in this area are named Spokane - the city, the valley, the river, and the mountain. Mt. Spokane State Park is a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding during the winter months. Mead is just a short distance west of the Idaho state line, as well as being south of Colville National Forest.
