This property is close to the Wilmington historic district and only ten miles from Wrightsville Beach. Go fishing along the river and catch anything from bass to Carolina catfish. The Masonboro Island Reserve is also another popular, yet well-protected, beach to visit. Head to the Airlie Gardens and have a picnic among the azaleas, enjoy the live oak canopies and admire the historic gates. Enjoy a trip to the Riverwalk for endless views of the Cape River, head to the Noni Bacca Winery for a taste of North Carolina wines, or get a feel for the local art scene by visiting the Cameron Art Museum.

Those looking for a nice bike, walk or hike will find lovely places to do so including, Greenfield Park, Hugh McRae Park, and New Hanover County Arboretum. Glampers who are interested in checking out the local nightlife should head to Front Street Brewery for a good time and local brews.
