LaGrange

Best West Point Lake camping in LaGrange

LaGrange was named after the estate of French and American hero General Marquis de Lafayette, and the sense of history remains to this day. Enjoy the authentic Southern charm and tranquil atmosphere of this lovely town, particularly in the numerous restaurants and coffee shops. It is also close to the incredible West Point Lake camping, a 26,000-acre reservoir with an astounding 500 miles of shoreline. This lake is ideal for any glamper interested in bass fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, or canoeing. Picnics by the lake are also popular, as is hiking around the perimeter. It is also well worth visiting the antebellum gardens at Hills & Dales estate, or the archaeological exhibits at the Explorations in Antiquity Center.
