It uses physical and breathing exercises, relaxation, sound and meditation to reach a state of holistic harmony and balance. 2) Sivananda Yoga is a classical and holistic approach to Hatha Yoga that stretches and tones the whole body. Sivananda training consists of frequent relaxation and emphasizes full, yogic breathing. Massages: Deep tissue sports massage and aromatherapy massage using only the best essential oils. Other activities include: Hiking and Walking - through the spectacular countryside of Provence for all difficulty levels. Maps and guides are available. Biking -Bikes and mopeds are available for rent. Maps provided for routes for all levels of fitness. Guided cycle tours are also available. Gorge du Verdon River Canyon - This beautiful lake offers lots of water sports activities such as swimming, hang gliding, whitewater rafting. There are many activities at the stunning Gorge du Verdon, one of the most beautiful river canyons in Europe. Activities include hang gliding, white water rafting, kayaking and trekking at various levels. Canoeing and windsurfing opportunities can be found at the immense Lac de St Croix lake. Horseback Riding - can be arranged at different stables. Tennis - can be played at nearby Villecroze. Golf - Many golf courses can be found within a about 30 mi. radius. Quad Bikes - At Chateau de Berne, you can rent a quad bike or even check out the outdoor assault course. Wine Tasting - can be organized at several local chateaux. Salernes Pottery & Villecroze Caves visits can be arranged.
