Off-Grid Cabin for Sustainable Nature Retreat in the Jungle near Sayulita, Mexico
This open-air, sustainable jungle glamping retreat is located just outside of the charming town of San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico, and can accommodate up to seven guests in three separate palapa cabins. Inside, glampers will enjoy a unique jungle atmosphere with hanging queen-size and twin bamboo beds. In the bathroom, guests will find a dry composting toilet and hot water shower. Linens and towels are provided.
After a long day of exploring and outdoor activities, guests can relax outside on the raised living area with beautiful jungle views or enjoy a meal together at the outdoor dining table. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen is a particularly unique space, and comes with everything guests will need to prepare meals at the cabin. There is a stove, an oven, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, clean drinking water, and an icebox.
On the property, guests will also have access to several shared facilities, including an outdoor jungle shower with hot water, a garden with hammocks, and a swimming pool. There are plenty of nature trails and beautiful spots to explore in the jungle within walking distance of the property.
This eight-acre property features several unique amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay. The property is entirely off-grid and uses solar power, well water, and dry composting toilets. Guests will have their own private kitchen and access to several shared outdoor spaces, including a swimming pool, an outdoor shower, and several jungle trails. There is also a shared garden with hammocks that is perfect for relaxing and listening to the sounds of the jungle. Guests will enjoy space for parking and a strong cell phone signal.

The one-kilometer road between the highway and the cabin is a dirt creekbed road. A high clearance or 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The hosts are happy to pick you up from San Pancho if requested.
The hosts live in a tree house on the property and are always available to give a tour of the property and help guests at any time during their stay if needed.
It is recommended that guests bring a flashlight or headlamp for walking through the jungle at night.
Guests should be aware that the jungle is home to many insects and animals, some of which can be dangerous. It's possible to encounter dangerous animals, such as scorpions and snakes on the property, although they are rarely seen and safe if unprovoked.
