Amambay

Named after a special fern grown in the region, Amambay is a department in Paraguay with some interesting attractions. For those looking to get a taste of nature and guilty pleasures, visiting Pedro Juan Caballero might not be a bad idea. After all, it’s home to a casino, a waterpark, and it offers plenty of ecotourism adventures. Then there’s Cerro Cora National Park.
