Callao

A city and popular seaport of Peru, Callao offers pretty waters and a vibrant coastline to backdrop its metropolis. There are many islands near the city, including Palominos, where sea lions and seabirds live in an untouched ecosystem. Head north from the city and you’ll find Nacional Antonio Raimondi Ecological Park. With more than 16,000 acres of land, the park is home to a special project designed to study and protect Lima’s climate.
