La Libertad

A region in northwest Peru, La Libertad offers travelers a variety of outdoor activities, including archeological sites and beaches. A cool town to visit is the coastal parish of Malabrigo. The surfing hotspot offers lush sands, crystal blue waters, and a dramatic horizon to complement your experience there. Hit the beach town of Trujillo and visit Huanchaco Beach for surfing, swimming, and fishing activities. Huancacho also offers pretty streets with shops, and for a small fee, you can even join fisherman on their daily routes.
