Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is a historic county in the east of England. It's biggest asset and must see destination is the capital of the county Lincoln. Lincoln's major landmarks are Lincoln Cathedral, a famous example of English Gothic architecture, and Lincoln Castle, an 11th-century Norman castle. As a medieval town built on a very large hill, Lincoln has beautiful architecture that is unique to England. Make sure you have the energy to walk up the notorious steep hill and go to the numerous vintage shops that has something for everyone.
