A public footpath runs approximately one mile through fields to the village of Great Ayton with its range of local shops, pubs, and a locally renowned ice cream shop and pie shop. Or if all of that sounds just too strenuous, take the easy route and just relax in your hot tub and watch the sun glistening on the lake before heading indoors for a cosy night warmed by the wood burner.
