Tucked away deep in the heart of Livradois National Park, this luxury yurt is located near Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne, France, and are ideal for those looking for a rural getaway to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.

This unique retreat can accommodate two adults and two children each. There is a plush king-size bed outfitted with fine linens to ensure guests lull off into a restful slumber after a day hiking through the beautiful French countryside. For a party of four, two camp beds are available for extra sleeping space. Each yurt has its own private composting toilet, along with a private shower, soft towels, and complimentary toiletries.

There is also a lovely living area where guests can relax after a day exploring Livradois National Park. The living area features a comfortable hammock great for taking an afternoon nap, as well as a dining table and chairs. Other amenities include solar powered lighting.

Outside, guests can explore the property’s vast acreage by hiking and biking the numerous trails as they marvel at the gorgeous wilderness.

This rural retreat has everything guests need for an unforgettable stay. The host provides fine linens, plush towels, and organic toiletries in all accommodations. Outside, guests will be able to wander the gorgeous grounds and get in touch with the great outdoors.

Guests staying in the yurt rentals will have solar powered lighting. Each yurt also features a comfortable hammock great for taking an afternoon nap. Glampers also have access to the rustic barn, which has a dining area. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning in the barn. Breakfast includes yogurt, cereals, fresh bread and patisseries, jam, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and fruit juice.

Glampers staying in the cottage rental will have Wi-Fi throughout the rental in order to stay in touch with loved ones back home. Guests can pack light since there is a laundry room with a washing machine to keep all belongings clean. There is also a wood-burning stove in the living room great for staying warm in the cooler months of the year. Outside, guests will find a picnic table where they can enjoy a delicious meal al fresco as they admire the surrounding natural beauty.

Tucked away in the Livradois National Park, getting in touch with nature is a must when staying at this wonderful glamping site. Nature enthusiasts can hike and bike through the property’s 20 acres where they can admire the beautiful flora and fauna, including deer, wild boar, butterflies, and over 200 species of birds. Guests can also take a Bushcraft course onsite to learn how to survive in the wild. Water sports lovers can go paddling on the river onsite or head to Allier River for rafting, fishing, and kayaking. Those wanting to dive into the crisp waters for a swim can venture to nearby lakes in La Chaise Dieu and Champagnac-le Vieux where they will find designated swimming areas. Glampers can also take the Allier Gorges Train, one of the most popular tourist trains along the gorge, or head to nearby enchanting towns and villages to do a bit of sightseeing. Guests can head to Clermont Ferrand to visit the Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or venture to La Chaise Dieu to visit the beautiful abbey dating back to 1043 AD.
