Spacious Tree House for a Glamping Getaway in the Wine Country of Bordeaux, France
Tree house in Pompignac, Nouvelle-Aquitaine
6 guests
This spacious tree house is perched on top of a 200-year-old oak tree in the heart of Bordeaux's wine country in southwestern France. It can accommodate six people, making it a family-friendly option for a glamping getaway. It is organized around a mezzanine that holds a double bed. The balcony faces west so guests can watch incredible sunsets overlooking the vineyard. In the morning, wild animals roaming around the property can be seen. A spiral staircase takes guests to a walkway leading to the cabin.
Inside, guests will find a camping stove to prepare simple meals and hot drinks. There are games and books to keep everyone entertained. Linens and towels are kindly provided, as is a mosquito net. There is no running water or electricity in the tree house, and shared bathroom facilities are found a short walk away.
A chef from the region has worked hard with the property owners to create two different kinds of gourmet dinner baskets, so that guests may maximize your time spent outdoors, watching magnificent sunsets from the balcony perched up in the trees, surrounded by nature. The Family Basket comes with one hot dish, one dessert, wine for adults, and juice for children. The Sweet Basket comes with an appetizer, a main course, a cheese dessert, a surprise, and one bottle of wine from the Château La Romaningue. The property also offers massage services such as a soothing facial or full body massage.
