Two and a half hours on the ferry from the island of Skiathos, Greece, will take vacationers to a majestic hilltop property where a beautiful stone cottage rental sits overlooking the spectacular Aegean Sea in the island of Alonnisos. It is the most remote among the Northern Sporades islands but its unspoiled beauty and rich history have slowly attracted travelers who want to stay away from the tourist crowds. Aside from its gorgeous beaches and stunning seaside sceneries, Alonnisos is also home to the first National Marine Park in Greece where visitors can see the rare Mediterranean Monk Seals in their natural habitat. It is roughly 20 minutes away from the glamping site near the port town of Patitiri which is also the island's capital.
