This gorgeous and secluded villa is a restored, traditional Tuscan farmhouse located in the Chianti Classico region of Italy. Tucked away on a vineyard in the cypress-lined, rolling hills of Tuscany's countryside, the villa is only 15 minutes away from the city of Florence. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests with additional room for four. This makes it a perfect Mediterranean retreat for groups of couples traveling together or a large family. For newlyweds on honeymoon, or couples who want a more private romantic getaway, there is a detached cottage next to the villa that can accommodate two guests.
In the villa, there are five bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms also include a flat-screen TV, a dresser, and a closet. Four of the bedrooms are located upstairs. In the master suite, couples can sleep on a plush double bed and wake up each morning to a spectacular sunrise over the rose garden and olive trees. They can curl up in front of a decorative, wood-burning fireplace, or relax with a soak in the Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bathroom.
The master bathroom also includes a double vanity, a toilet, and a glass-enclosed shower. Other couples can sleep in a pair of guest bedrooms, each with a full-size bed and a bathroom with a toilet, a vanity, and a shower. Children can sleep on two twin beds in the fourth bedroom. This bedroom's en-suite bathroom contains a toilet, a sink, and a bathtub with a hydromassage spa. The upstairs bedrooms will have access to a hallway half-bath and another living room with three sofas, another flat-screen TV, and a wood-burning fireplace. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a sower. There is also a studio bedroom with a full-size sofa bed. Soft luxury linens are provided for all beds. Each bathroom provides a set of white towels, a collection of toiletries, and a hairdryer.
In the main living room, guests can kick back on one of the nice sofas and watch a DVD on the flat-screen TV. They can also curl up in an armchair or on a chaise in the parlor, and read a book from the library or simply enjoy the lovely views of the idyllic Tuscan countryside. One of the sofas in the living room can be pulled into a full-size bed to accommodate two guests. The living room is near a bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. It is also near a formal dining room with a table that seats up to 12 guests. The dining room is next to the entrance to the wine cellar. In addition, there is a TV room with nice, comfortable furniture and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player.
There are two kitchens, one fully-equipped and one that's smaller and more suited for breakfasts. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, and a coffeemaker. The smaller breakfast kitchen includes another fridge with a freezer, a hot plate and oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffeemaker, and a mixer. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided in both kitchens.
For guests' convenience, there is a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and an iron with an ironing board. Four adult-size and one child-size mountain bike rentals are provided. Guests with babies or young children can request a baby bed. Extra twin-size beds for up to four additional guests can also be requested. Other amenities in the villa include heating and air conditioning, cable and satellite, Wi-Fi, a stereo, and a mobile phone.
For more peace and privacy, couples or newlyweds can opt to stay in the detached cottage. Downstairs, guests can kick back on a comfortable sofa and watch a movie on a flat-screen TV as a fire blazes in the wood-burning fireplace. Pool towels are provided. The patio also includes a spacious loggia with a BBQ grill and a wood-burning, brick pizza oven. After a day spent sipping cappuccinos in medieval piazzas or touring Renaissance art galleries in Florence, guests can dine alfresco with savory Tuscan meats and a bottle of wine, or soak in the hot tub as the sun sets behind the Tuscan hills and the snow-capped Apennines.
The villa and detached cottage are surrounded by a large and luscious garden full of cypress trees, roses, and violet irises. It is also surrounded by miles of olive groves and vineyards. Guests can tour the vineyard and cellars, and taste some of the Chianti Classico region's world-famous wines. The villa is also close to nature trails perfect for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
Guests will have access to a farmhouse beside the villa. Behind the villa, guests will find an expansive, furnished patio with a dining area, a loggia with a wood-burning pizza oven, and a BBQ grill. The patio leads down to a private swimming pool with a Jacuzzi tub. There is also a pool house with a changing room and a bathroom with a shower. The villa is surrounded by luscious gardens and acres of vineyards.
Inside the villa, guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi and cell service. There are many living rooms, a TV room, and a fully-equipped kitchen with another dining area.
