This fabulous glamping tent is ideal for a holiday near Beirut, Lebanon. This picturesque safari tent accommodates two guests and is located in the stunning hills of Maghdoucheh, near Sidon. The retreat is three kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea in the South Governorate of Lebanon.

There is one bedroom in this luxurious getaway that sits on a wooden deck and is supported by a wood frame. The bedroom has one comfortable full-size bed with pillows, high-end linens, and is outfitted with a nightstand. The tents feature a unique transparent wall or ceiling, allowing for peaceful star gazing before sinking into a soothing slumber.

Guests will have access to a detached private bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Quality towels are provided.

Outside, guests will find a private thatched-roof terrace and additional seating nooks with chairs, benches, and a small table. Olive trees hover overhead, offering a serene and private space to relax and admire the sights and sounds of nature. At night, the lights hanging in the trees create an even warmer and more romantic ambiance.

There is a cozy fire pit for warm nights snuggling by the fire with loved ones. The safari tent is surrounded by beautiful gardens, olive trees, a waterfall, and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and sea.

This unique glamping site was designed to provide maximum comfort in harmony with nature, surrounded by romantic touches and set to the dramatic backdrop of the Mediterranean sea. Guests will sleep soundly in this pleasant retreat, waking up to the lovely sound of birds chirping in the lush gardens and olive trees right at their doorstep.

Guests have mountain and sea views visible from their fabulous private balcony or terrace. There is an on-site restaurant and a bar serving mixed grill, fish, pizza, drinks, and more, for guests to enjoy delicious and fresh meals throughout the day.

The property offers several seating areas with chairs and tables to enjoy the stunning sunset views while sipping on wine. Guests will have access to a fire pit and a BBQ area for preparing their own tasty meals. There is a soothing waterfall on-site, adding to the peaceful and serene ambiance, as well as a Jacuzzi, available upon reservation at an additional fee.

Other amenities include a shared shower area with a changing room, an outdoor chimney for staying warm around the flames on a chilly night, complimentary water, refreshments, and hot beverages.

Guests will also receive complimentary tent cleaning, on-site parking, heating in winter months, and one complimentary crate of wood.

Finally, glampers will be delighted to enjoy one complimentary breakfast consisting of delicious traditional Lebanese cuisine.

The property’s location is ideally tucked away in a quiet hillside while situated just a few minutes away from many gems of the southern coast of Lebanon, with extremely close proximity to two of Lebanon’s largest cities. Just a moment away from the property, guests can visit the historic landmark, the Tower of Our Lady of Mantara, a Marian shrine built above a cave believed to have been the resting place of the Virgin Mary as she waited for Jesus while he preached in Sidon.

Lebanon’s third-largest city, Sidon, is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a rich blend of cultural heritage sites, an old city, beaches, shopping, cuisine, and entertainment. Guests can check out Saida public beach, in the heart of the city, or venture just north or south to discover many other beautiful beaches. The Said Souq, Sidon’s old city and one of Lebanon’s most authentic souq areas, is characterized by narrow streets and old buildings, offering a glimpse back in time, with markets and traditional Lebanese treats to sample along the way.

Guests will have the chance to embark on a journey back in time, visiting the 13th century Crusaders Sea Castle, just a 10-minute drive away. The stunning castle was built on a small island connected to the mainland by a fortified stone and is located in front of the souq entrance. An even more ancient site, the Temple of Eshmun, is dedicated to Eshmun, the Phoenician god of healing, and dates all the way back to the 7th century.

Guests are only a one hour drive away from Beirut, the country’s Capital city and biggest cultural and historical hub. This city’s downtown is full of Souks (markets), historical landmarks including Martys’ Square and Nijmeh Square, monuments dedicated to the country’s divided history, and several museums showcasing the country’s complex history. For those who enjoy being near the Mediterranean, the Zaitunay Bay yachting dock offers great views and restaurant options. Finally, guests won’t want to miss a visit to Pigeon Rocks, Raouche, a Lebanese natural treasure, displaying stunningly picturesque rock formations in the sea.
