This charming bed and breakfast is located in Baħrija, Malta, and can accommodate 10 guests. Set on a permaculture farm, glampers can relish getting back to nature and enjoying a unique off-the-grid experience. Close to the historic town of Rabat, as well as some stunning cliff-top hikes and walks, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a family holiday.

There are three cozy domes, two of which have double beds, while the final dome features three twin bunk beds. Guests also have access to the shared bathroom facilities, which include a composting toilet, and a shower which boasts the unique feature of fantastic valley views. Linens and towels are provided, along with heating and free Wi-Fi. There is a communal fully-equipped kitchen in which guests are welcome to cook vegetarian or vegan meals.

The farm, complete with vegetable gardens, terraced land, and even an apiary, gives visitors the perfect opportunity to take part in the day-to-day running of the farm while learning about the processes and philosophy of permaculture farming. Glampers are also very close to the many wonderful attractions of Malta, from cliff-top hikes, ancient towns, and of course, beautiful beaches.

Guests will enjoy full access to three and a half acres of terraced land on a permaculture farm, where they are invited to take part in activities. The farm has gardens and an apiary, and glampers are welcome to use the shared kitchen, bathroom, and compost hub. The shower offers both hot and cold water, along with stunning valley views while you bathe. Wi-Fi and heating are included with the stay.

Pets are not permitted. The hosts have a dog who lives on site. He is friendly, but the hosts kindly request that guests with children ensure that they do not disturb him too much or wake him up if he is sleeping.

There is Wi-Fi, however, the hosts turn it off at 10 p.m. The efficiency of the Wi-Fi can be slightly affected by high winds in the area.

Car parking is available about five minutes walk from the property.

Any damage to the domes or the property could lead to a charge of up to €600.

Glampers are encouraged to take part in the day-to-day running of the farm, including tending to the vegetables and learning about permaculture. There are incredible walking and hiking opportunities throughout the farm and nearby, with clifftop and valley views. The area is a photographer's dream, as animals often wander through the farm and there is an assortment of local vegetation.

The island of Malta is famed for its incredible historic sites, and guests should be sure to explore its fortresses, megalithic temples, and the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum. It also has fantastic beaches and unique ocean rock structures, where guests can go swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling and so much more.
