This luxury eco-resort lies nestled between the stunning Sierra Madres and the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean, amidst two estuaries, one created by the Juluchuca and the other by the Tuzal river. The 100% solar-powered eco-lodge opens up onto almost a mile of soft sand beaches intermingled with majestic dunes, lush wetlands, and palm groves. All of this sits against a backdrop of luscious green hills, which are part of an archaeological site that belonged to the village of Xolochiuhvan and served as an agricultural terrace (part of the ancient civilizations of Olmec, Mayan, and later the Aztec civilizations). The site practices permaculture, flora and fauna preservation, and offers outdoor activities from hiking, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing to bird watching and kayaking.
