A stay here is on a full board basis: a buffet breakfast, a three course lunch, and dinner. At the site, food is part of the journey. The hosts use fresh and local ingredients to fuse French and Mozambican culinary traditions. Rock lobster, calamari, or fish are all brought in from local waters by village fisherman. An agriculture project down the road supplies many of the organic vegetables. Fruit and vegetables are collected and sold to the property from the surrounding villages.
The breakfast buffet includes an array of the site's jams, along with freshly baked bread.
The hosts are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs so please do let them know.

For an additional fee, guests can go for a sunset beach ride with the horses or, if guests are adventurous, trek through the forest, have lunch at the property, and return to the property by the beach.
Mozambique’s coastline offers some of the best diving in the world. These waters are home to whale sharks, manta rays, dugongs, sea turtles, and humpback whales. The neighbors 16km to the South at Zavora operate Moz Divers and the hosts are more than happy to arrange transfer to and from the center for diving. Read More
Location + Surroundings
Together with the Chope Community, the owners have built this glamping site hotel. Four years of training and working hand in hand with the local community have enabled outstanding buildings (completely manually made) to grow amongst the dunes. Their rounded shapes melt gracefully into this unique environment that is preserved by all means.
Paths through the dunes and the coastal forest, along the edge of Dongane lake and towards Dovela village offer guests lots of opportunities to explore the area and meet people. Alternatively, guests can relax on the terrace and watch the Humpback Whales (June to October), or walk down to the pristine beach and snorkel along the rocky reef. Read More

Follow the special sunset route through the property to the best seat in the house for one of the breathtaking African sunsets. A surprise awaits guests on the other side.
Guided / Unguided Walks
The hosts have created TKTK kilometers of marked trails through their conservation area for guests to explore on their own with maps or with a field guide. Hike along the dunes, in the woodlands, to the beach or the lake, and get to know the butterflies, birds and other sights and sounds of the forest.
The expansive Dongane Lake provides hours of exploration. Guests might meet a local fisherman culling the lake for freshwater fish or cross over to see traditional Mozambican construction in Dovela village.
A passionate enthusiast, Thomas, will gladly take guests on a tour to introduce them to as many of the 140 species of birds that inhabit the property as possible.
At low tide, the hosts have a reef protected natural pool where guests can snorkel and experience the marine life in crystal clear calm waters.
For anyone in need of pure relaxation, the pristine Manhame beach below the property is the perfect escape just a five-minute walk from the accommodation. The hosts will arrange a covered shade so guests can enjoy as much time as possible.
Village Lunch and Tour
If guests would like to get to know the local community better, they can have lunch with a family in Dovela village. Experience local cuisine and learn more about rural life in Mozambique. Visit the school the hosts built as the community requested for payment for the property's conservation area.
