This is Southern Mozambique's only eco-lodge and is surrounded by virgin coastal woodland. Situated about 300 kilometers north of Maputo and 60 kilometers south of Inhambane, the hosts offer all-inclusive tented luxury suites overlooking the aquamarine waters of the Indian Ocean. There are four tents in total and each is pitched on a wooden platform creating a private terrace. They are equipped with a double bed or two single beds. The hosts provide towels and toiletries for each guest, and glampers will have access to shared toilets and showers just a short distance away.

A stay here is on a full board basis: a buffet breakfast, a three course lunch, and dinner. At the site, food is part of the journey. The hosts use fresh and local ingredients to fuse French and Mozambican culinary traditions. Rock lobster, calamari, or fish are all brought in from local waters by village fisherman. An agriculture project down the road supplies many of the organic vegetables. Fruit and vegetables are collected and sold to the property from the surrounding villages.

The breakfast buffet includes an array of the site's jams, along with freshly baked bread.

The hosts are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs so please do let them know.

Detailed location provided after booking

Scenic views
Together with the Chope Community, the owners have built this glamping site hotel. Four years of training and working hand in hand with the local community have enabled outstanding buildings (completely manually made) to grow amongst the dunes. Their rounded shapes melt gracefully into this unique environment that is preserved by all means.

Paths through the dunes and the coastal forest, along the edge of Dongane lake and towards Dovela village offer guests lots of opportunities to explore the area and meet people. Alternatively, guests can relax on the terrace and watch the Humpback Whales (June to October), or walk down to the pristine beach and snorkel along the rocky reef.
