Glampers will be in paradise while staying at this charming bed and breakfast, as they won’t have to move far from their rooms to access the lodge’s luxurious amenities, and the thriving town of Kerikeri is just 10 minutes up the road. Take a dip in the pool, play on the Wii in the common room, or soak in the sun on the inviting terrace. Head into Kerikeri for a taste of the local food or a tour of one of the popular wineries in town. The historic Stone Store is worth a visit as well, as it is New Zealand’s oldest building that dates back over 400 years. Opua Forest and Haruru Falls, two stunning natural landmarks about an hour and a half from the property, are not to be missed, and glampers can lay out on the beaches by the bay for a few hours on their way south. The islands in the bay are equally alluring, with their sub-tropical scenery, thriving wildlife, and historic Polynesian landmarks scattered throughout the area.
