Renwick

Whether you’re visiting Renwick as a pit stop or for its outdoors, there’s certainly one thing you cannot miss in the quaint town: Wine. There are so many vineyards in Renwick, and one of the coolest activities involves renting a bike and pedaling from vineyard to vineyard, tasting the heartiest wines. Aside from wine tasting tours, many of the wineries also offer lunch and dinner. Fun fact: 85% of New Zealand’s sauvignon and pinot noir is grown in the region, thus making the town a hot spot for wine connoisseurs. There are many wine tours worth partaking in, especially Spy Valley Wines, a free entry tour that introduces you also to the region’s olive oil. So, guess Renwick is not much of a pit stop is it?
